Anand Lab is located in Room 1076B in the Engineering Research Facility (ERF) located at 842 W. Taylor St. in Chicago. Our lab is equipped with:

  • Microscopes: Zeiss AxioZoom.v16 (with motorized column), a Navitar lens system with long working distance objectives, an Infinity lens system
  • Cameras: Photron FASTCAM Mini AX100 (color high speed camera), Nikon D810, Tucsen, PTGrey GS3-U3-23S6C-C, Nikon D5500, iDS Imaging UI-3180CP
  • Spin-Coater: Laurell WS-650Mz-23NPPB
  • Centrifuge: Thermo Scientific Sorvall ST16 Benchtop Centrifuge
  • Sonicator: Qsonic Q700
  • Customized setup for performing condensation and icing studies
  • Fumehoods for working with chemicals and aerosols.
  • Glovebox with humidity and temperature control
  • General equipment: Harvard Sciences PHD Ultra programmable syringe pump, Branson sonicator, high powered LED light systems, Vacuum Oven (Shellab SVAC2), Mettler Toledo XSE205DU precision balance (readability of 0.01 mg), Nikon Macro lenses, UV Curing system
